Synchronicity

In January I had met an artist, named Pam, who worked with oil and cold wax.  She was full to the brim with enthusiasm and pure joy for what she does.  Pam was giving a demonstration of her techniques and I was captivated.  I had been delving into learning more about oil painting when our paths crossed.  Talking about synchronicity!  Several days later I contacted her and made arrangements to spend the entire day with her, playing and learning, playing and learning.  I had started 4 pieces with several layers of oil and cold wax.  I chose the one I liked the least and focused on improving it.  Wouldn't you know?  It has turned out to be my favorite one.  Pam's, too.  OMGoodness I was smitten.  Here is the final piece.

Because of the turn of events for it's creation I have named this piece Synchronicity.  It's fitting, huh?

Synchronicity:   the occurrence of two or more events that appear to be meaningfully related
but not causally related. Synchronicity holds that such events are "meaningful coincidences".
