contemplating new beginnings

This piece of art I created represents my word for 2012.
BEGINNINGS
Since I've allowed my creative spirit out to play I have been discovering new beginnings, sometimes sparked with enthusiasm and sometimes laced with fear.  Beginnings hold the promise of new lessons to be learned.  As part of this creative process my intention is to continue to welcome the new beginnings which will bring promise, hope, and fear.
I feel so blessed to be more in touch with my creative side that will no longer lay dormant and as a bonus I am learning more about myself.
And to think it all started when I took one small step toward a new beginning.

  2. Hi Teresa! I've been meaning to answer your question you left on my blog about what I painted my bird scene on. I actually painted it on a single piece of canvas. The kind you buy in a pad. When I come to your blog I love to look at your photo album of your work. You are so talented! Thanks for the inspiration:)

  6. I like this word very much Teresa. Everything has a beginning, and to an end. But it is the beginning of the things in our lives that we grow and learn and expand our hearts and souls. And in the end, if we have done the beginnings right, we are at peace. I'm faced with many new beginnings in 2012 - some I planned for and want, and some that are being forced on me. I hope I can follow your lead and look at the new beginnings in my life as a promise for a better future.

  18. Beginnings are the best! Super word choice. I think that at the beginning, a little fear is always good. It means you care and that it matters, it's challenging etc. etc.. All the best beginnings to you in 2012!

  30. It's a grand circle...the beginning that leads to an end and to a beginning once more. A dear friend like to remind me before I start something new to celebrate what I have learned from where I am leaving. That practice has served me well...It is my gift to you. Here's to a new beginning and many celebrations. Rae
