I'm taking an on-line class with
Misty Mawn called "Face to Face", she teaches how to draw faces. This class is for 6 weeks and is a learn at your own pace. This style of class is my favorite because it seems like the pressure is off. The private Facebook group is extremely encouraging and supportive.
I've been devouring the training videos and filling up on knowledge. I realized that I was so absorbed in the videos that I wasn't drawing. I made a conscious decision to jump right in and do my first drawing. I started with pencil then shaded with charcoal. What do you think so far?
You have such a gift when it comes to drawing, and this just proves it. I love it! She is beautiful.

ReplyDeleteExcellent! You did a great job! I love faces! Mine do not turn out like this though--not even close. I have been working on one that I wanted to look like a fairy tale princess but it's not working out. FIrst, she looked like a hooker so I worked on her some more, and now she just looks mean--like she will kick your ass if your not careful. LOL! It's hilarious. She definitely needs more work.
