I use to listen to him a along time ago for inspiration when I sold Mary Kay Cosmetics. It was inspiring to rehear the same message. I needed to hear it then just like I need to hear it now.

ReplyDeleteEarle's commentary about a plan and direction for one's work--doing something and doing it well because you love to do it, and more importantly, WANT to do it--is a concept that's startlingly simple, and yet, thought-provoking, because how many of us really DO what we love, because we love it...and not just because it's what we were trained to do, or expected to do, or thought we'd love when we first entered the workforce? It's almost scary to think we probably choose our life's work based on these factors more often than our love for something.
